Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a Zoomy account or using the Zoomy platform (the apps, this website, or our API), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Zoomy platform

Zoomy is a technology marketplace that connects customers who need moving or delivery help with independent providers. Zoomy is not a moving company or carrier and does not perform the work itself. Providers are independent contractors, not Zoomy employees. The price shown when you book is the price you pay — no hidden fees — unless you change the job yourself.

3. Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Phone-number verification is required to book. Providers must complete identity verification before they can offer work on Zoomy.

4. Payments

Payment is charged through Stripe when you book. The price shown is the price you pay. Providers receive 57% of each job's price, paid through Stripe Connect. Refunds follow our cancellation policy: a full refund if you cancel before a provider accepts the job, and a partial refund (minus the platform fee) if you cancel within 2 minutes of a provider accepting it.

5. Conduct

Users must not:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
  • Provide false information during registration or a job.
  • Attempt to circumvent pricing, fees, or identity verification.
  • Ask a provider to carry unlawful, hazardous, or prohibited items.

6. Safety

Providers complete identity verification, and photos are captured at pickup and drop-off as a record of how items were handled. While a job is active, the provider app shares the provider's location so you can follow progress and confirm arrival. In an emergency, contact local authorities first (911).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoomy's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the job giving rise to the claim. Zoomy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will communicate material changes before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
