How Zoomy pricing works
Zoomy does not publish a rate card, because a price is calculated from the job you describe. This page explains what a price is built from, when the real number appears, and why it can be replaced or stop being current. The authoritative amount is the quote Zoomy issues for your job, which you read before you pay.

What a price is built from
A quote itemises the parts it was built from, and which parts appear depends on the job. These are the ones you are most likely to see. It is not a closed list — a job can carry a part that is not named here.
- The service itself. The kind of job you picked, which is what everything else is added to. Two jobs in different services are not variations of one price.
- Distance. Where a job runs between two addresses, the distance between them. This is why an exact address is asked for and a city name is not enough.
- The vehicle. What the job has to be carried in. What you are moving decides this, rather than you choosing it.
- Labour. The people the job takes and for how long. This follows from what you described.
- A move package. Where a move is priced as a package rather than item by item, the package it is priced as.
- Volume. Where a job is measured by how much space it takes rather than by a count of items.
- Disposal. Where something is being taken away rather than delivered, the cost of it leaving, which is not part of the carry.
3 things sit between those parts and the total, and Zoomy shows the difference rather than leaving rows that do not add up.
- Fees and tax. Their own line on a quote, above the total and separate from the parts. Where there are none to add, the line is zero rather than absent.
- When the job runs. Some times are priced differently from others. That applies to the whole job rather than to one of the parts above, and it appears as a single adjustment line rather than under its own name.
- A minimum. A job smaller than the minimum for it is priced at the minimum, so the total can be higher than its parts add up to. This shares the same adjustment line.

The three services ask for genuinely different things after that, because the jobs are genuinely different.

- What is being delivered, and how many of it.
- Both addresses, because the distance between them is priced.
Moving
- What is being moved, and — where a move is priced by room — which rooms are in it.
- Where a move is priced as a package, which package it is.
- Both addresses, because a move runs between two of them.
Junk removal
- What needs hauling away.
- One address, not two — junk removal is a single-site service.
Why a quote can be replaced
A quote is bound to one job: the items, the addresses and the time you entered. That is what makes it exact, and it is also why changing any of them replaces it rather than adjusting it — the new job is a different job, not the old one with a surcharge.
A quote can also lapse while you are deciding, in which case you are asked to refresh before paying.

Why is there no price list on this page?
Because a price without your job would be a guess. Everything a price is built from changes with the job, so a number published here could only be right by accident — and a visitor who acted on it would be misled.
When do I find out what it costs?

Can the price change after I see it?
Changing the job, the addresses or the time replaces the price rather than keeping it, because those are what it was calculated from. A quote can also lapse while you are deciding, in which case you are asked to refresh before paying.

What happens if the time I chose is gone by the time I pay?
The order of the last two steps is not the order most people assume. The card is charged, and Zoomy then tries to confirm the booking. Almost always it succeeds, and a charge is still not by itself a confirmed booking — the confirmation is.
If the time you chose has gone in between, the booking is not made and nothing further is charged. Where Zoomy can settle the charge back automatically it does; where it cannot, it puts you on a support path and shows the payment reference if it has one, rather than leaving you to notice.
